I always try to research and find out what would be the best for my home when wanting to add something new.

So when I was planning on getting a new air conditioning system in the near future, of course I was going to read about it. One of the first things I read about was cooling installation. Mainly because I was curious as to how HVAC workers install heating and air conditioning components. It was quite interesting to read, and pretty confusing for me, but that is probably because I don’t have any prior knowledge on heating and cooling machines. The next and most important thing for me to read about was the heating and air conditioning system best suited for your home. Sizing, for example, really matters. If you get a HVAC machine that is too big, it will short cycle all of the time, which will cause it to stop working prematurely. But if you get an air conditioning device that is too small, it will run all of the time and that will also cause it to stop working prematurely, and in the end will cost you a lot of money. Then you have to consider your area and your climate, and what piece of A/C technology best fits your home and your area. I still have a lot of reading and learning to do, and in the end I will consult a certified professional HVAC worker, just to make sure that I am getting everything right.

I didn’t think there was anything wrong with my home, until someone literally came into my house and asked why it was so cold in here. At first, I was a bit confused, because I knew I had turned my heating unit on. Sure enough, I checked on the heating and A/C unit, and the heating component was on. However, now that my friend mentioned it, they were right, despite my heating device being on, it was still fairly chilly in there. My friend didn’t stay long, and that was fine with me because now I wanted to get this HVAC issue resolved. I called the air conditioning company that specializes in heating repair, and scheduled an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. When the afternoon came, and the air conditioning technician arrived, I made him aware of the issue, and he decided to take a look at my ductwork. It was a ductwork problem. The ductwork had many different holes in it, and that was causing all of the heated air to escape outside. I was glad that at least that was an easy fix, unlike a central furnace problem. So, I paid for duct sealing, and the A/C tech was able to do the ductwork sealing in the same day. Ever since then, I have not had a problem, and none of my friends comment on my home being cold anymore. Such a simple repair, and it was cheap too. Definitely worth it if it means having my home warm and comfortable again.

Some of the things that people fuss over baffle me.

There are always trends coming and going, and it always starts the same. Some item or product becomes popular, and people jump on the bandwagon and love it for a while. You can’t escape it, it’s everywhere for the next few weeks or months. Then, as soon as the novelty wears off, the product is dropped like a sack of potatoes and there is a new trend. It seems like the newest trend is heated flooring. I am not sure when this trend started, but a lot of people seem to obsess over radiant heated flooring. I now know 3 different people that all got heated floors around the same time, and honestly I don’t get it. I mean I am not really surprised, I don’t usually care for trends to begin with. But getting HVAC heated floors just seems pointless to me. Because of this trend, all of the HVAC corporations this year are pretty busy, trying to fulfill all of these appointments for heated floor installation. I went over to one of my friend’s homes that has this flooring, and I wasn’t impressed. It just seems like it is overrated to me. But at least a lot of my friends love it. However, I still believe that this is a trend, and in the next 6 months, if that, it will be dropped and forgotten about, and then the next new thing will be all over and the cycle repeats.

He was really proud of it, and if you dared ask about his HVAC corporation, then be prepared for an earful. He would tell his air conditioning company to anyone he knows, and I honestly think his excessive talking about it has done better advertising for his corporation than the actual advertising! As I grew older, it became quite obvious that my dad expected for me to take control of his air conditioning company when I was older. Since I was the only child, that privilege was passed down to me. However, there was one problem with that, I didn’t have any interest in running a HVAC company. I actually really disliked the idea of running a business, but I didn’t want to crush my dad either. When I was in high school and graduation was getting closer, I started dreading it more and more, because I knew as soon as I graduated my dad was going to expect me to become a HVAC worker. Thankfully, I ended up finding a solution. A good friend of mine, upon hearing of the HVAC career field, loved the idea. She was one of the few people that actually listened to my dad when he would passionately talk about his job. She told me she would love to have a HVAC corporation and how I was lucky. I sure didn’t feel lucky, and eventually I had to tell my dad the truth. As I expected he was crushed, but I told him about my friend’s interest. They already had a good relationship, so he was willing to accept her. I still think he is disappointed, but I know my friend will be a fantastic business owner and A/C worker.

When I first started our local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company, the first thing our sister Al told myself and others was that I needed to have an advertising campaign. I needed to get our name and company info out to the public before I even opened the doors. Al told myself and others that the easiest way to pre-advertise myself was by setting up social media accounts and creating a website. I had to let potential clients know that I would soon be open and let them believe what our credentials were as a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist. Al also thought I should let people see a FAQ section that answered their more than 2 or 3 questions. Most times, people who become up-to-date clients are simply people looking for answers to their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C questions, and not wanting to talk to a very pushy receptionist. I thought about what Al said, and when I went to the bank and to the small business meetings, they said the same thing. A week later, I had the line of credit in the bank, and I was buying everything I needed for my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company. I called Al and asked if she would help myself and others with our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C advertising. Al said I had made a wise choice and started now working on the website the same day. Within a week, Al already had a presence on the internet and a sweet website to attach the social media ads to. Hiring Al to do all the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C advertising was the best choice I ever made! Not only was I pleased with her task on the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C campaign, but I hired Al to task with myself and others at the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company.

All I can hope is that everything else goes and Lou and I think it should.

Foolishly I thought that all I had to do was go to the bank and take out a business loan, if I was going to buy the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company.

The business was already established, and all I should have had to do was to take over management and put the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company in our name. The bank jerk wanted a five-year business plan for the shop. He wanted collateral and a list of inventory I would be buying. When I said it was a well-known and fully local established Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company, the loan officer didn’t give a damn. He said it was an up-to-date business for me, and he needed the paperwork to support it. I had to go to the owner of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company and ask for his business records over the last five years. I needed their profit and loss statements, and their business plan. I suddenly pondered if owning a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company was worth all this trouble. I also had to request something called a record of Goodwill from the owner. I didn’t even believe there was such a thing as business goodwill. All I knew about goodwill was the local Good Will store that sold hour-hand stuff. It took nearly a week to gather all the documents I required, before I could get another appointment with the loan officer. After he looked at all the paperwork, he asked me what I was bringing into the business. Being an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier of more than fifteen years, I told him I brought our task ethics and business acumen that went with being the store manager for the last five years. Two weeks later, the bank called and congratulated me. They finally approved our loan and I was about to become the proud owner of a local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company.

I needed help last week, when our rickety old furnace started making some genuinely strange sounds.

I must have found 200 other business cards before I found the right 1. I wished I had found the newest biz card after calling the listed number numerous times and getting the same response. Then I began cursing because I thought they may have changed their phone number. Bill looked at the business card I was using and started laughing. Bill went to the refrigerator and took the magnet down, that we had gotten from the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company. There was a more up-to-date address and iphone number for out Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company. I felt really foolish, because I had forgotten that we had gotten the magnet. Bill called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company and set up the appointment for the following day, when Bill would be home. Although Bill hugged myself and others and told myself and others he loved me, I still felt like an idiot. I couldn’t figure out how I was able to miss that big magnet on the front of the refrigerator, announcing the more up-to-date address and iphone number of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company.
