If someone happens to ask you what you want for the new year, then just tell them you want a new fireplace! If you’re like me, then you love the way a wood burning fireplace improves the ambiance in your house.

I was dreaming of getting a fireplace this past year, but my husband told me that our budget just would not allow it. We have had a really rough year this past year, what with all of the Covid shutdowns, and so I knew that I probably wasn’t going to be able to get my fireplace for Christmas like we had originally planned. Our house didn’t have a fireplace of any sort when we moved in and my husband has been promising to get one installed for me ever since we moved into this place. Of course, things have happened since then that have kept us from actually following through with that plan. My desire to have a fireplace in the house has been overshadowed by the need for us to actually have a house, and food, and heating and air conditioning over the past year. Not to mention keeping up the payments on our cars. It’s been a rough year, but we are doing a little bit better now. I think that in another few months, we might actually be dug out of the hole that we have been in and we can get back on track to saving up our money to get my fireplace put in at long last. Maybe by next Christmas we will be sitting around a wood burning fireplace!

My husband Chad works as an HVAC technician here in town and he really loves his job. He has been working as an HVAC technician for the past twelve years now. Really, he has been in the heating and cooling business ever since I’ve known him for the most part. When we first met, I was just finishing college and he was going to one of the technical schools that we have here in our county. He was enrolled in the HVAC certification program back then. I remember back when we first started dating, I would help Chad study for his tests for his classes. He was always really good at doing the hands on work with the furnaces and air conditioning systems, but he was never all that great at taking tests. I guess when you’re an HVAC technician, what really matters is whether you know what you’re doing or not, though! He definitely knows what he’s doing. Now that he’s been in the business for a dozen years, he’s very sought after as an HVAC repairman. Most of his customers love him and they will actually call the company where he works and request that he be the HVAC technician that they send out to work on their furnace or air conditioning system for them. I’m really glad that Chad enjoys his job so much. I’m proud of him for sticking with it for all of these years, too! It’s nice to be married to someone who actually likes their job and has job security for the future.

This might sound like it’s coming from a pretty paranoid person, but the truth is that having something as simple as an annual furnace tune up can actually save your life and the lives of your family.

When my best acquaintance told myself and others that she was going to buy her first home I was actually gleeful for her! Finally, she was going to escape the trap of renting.

Nobody should be forced to rent for their entire life because they do not have the finances to purchase their own home; Unfortunately, that is reality for everyone in my generation… When she said that she found an outdated home that was in her budget, I was actually gleeful that she was going to update her life.

Unfortunately, first she needed to update the central heating, cooling, plus air quality control method that came with the property, and this home had been outfitted with the cream of the crop heating, cooling, plus ventilation method at the time that it was built. central heating plus cooling units were a brand new invention when this property was being developed, however most people did not have a forced air heating system plus substantial centralized cooling system equipment in their home at that point… As such, it was a actually fancy lake house various decades ago thanks to that centralized thermostat plus heating, cooling, plus ventilation program. About three years ago, I finally managed to open a coffee shop.

I took classes in business management, saved every penny and took my time before purchasing the perfect piece of property. I wanted an easily accessible and visible location with plenty of parking. I also didn’t have a fortune to invest. The place I chose had been left vacant for nearly ten years. It needed a lot of work. There was water damage to the ceilings and floors, vermin infestation and broken windows. The outdoor pavement was cracked and the plumbing was terribly corroded. One of my biggest concerns was the heating and cooling unit. There was an ancient piece of equipment taking up a lot of space and looking horrible in the parking lot. It was rusted, damaged from ice falling off the roof and had been vandalized. When I asked an HVAC professional what to do about it, he suggested installing a rooftop unit. This type of system combines heating and cooling into a single piece of equipment. Because it’s located on the roof, it takes up none of the commercial space and doesn’t detract from aesthetics. It also keeps the operational sounds to a minimum and provides easier access for repairs or maintenance. I was happy to see the old HVAC unit removed. The new system is far more compact, attractive and wonderfully energy efficient. It easily keeps the coffee shop perfectly warm in the winter and wonderfully cool in the summer. The system does a good job of combating excess humidity and has proven super reliable.

When my husband and I purchased our home, it was outfitted with an oil furnace.

I wasn’t happy about it.

This meant that we had a large, ugly fuel tank located in our yard. I needed to schedule fuel delivery. I continually worried about the fuel tank rupturing, running out of fuel and potentially going without heat during the middle of a blizzard. Oil heating has a strange smell and isn’t over energy efficient. I wanted to take advantage of the perks of a natural gas furnace. Gas is a cleaner burning fuel and is available in an endless supply. The gas furnaces on today’s market are exceptionally energy efficient and offer all sorts of convenient features. I expected that the project would be cost-prohibitive. I was reluctant to replace a furnace that was still functional. After a few years however, the old heater was showing its age. It was no longer keeping up with demand and requiring frequent little repairs. I finally asked the local HVAC professional for a quote on oil to gas conversion. I was prepared to pay just about anything rather than purchase a new oil heater. The cost of converting to natural gas was not nearly as expensive as expected. I made up for it by spending a ton of money on a top-of-the-line gas furnace. I chose a model with all of the latest features and highest possible AFUE rating. I am so pleased with how much more comfortable my home feels. Even on the coldest winter nights, every room is perfectly warm. The house now smells better and stays cleaner. The savings on my monthly energy bills help to recover the investment.

I’m not sure what it is lately, but our wifey plus I have been consistently bickering.

All of us are bickering appreciate siblings would, plus it’s usually about the smallest issues that most people wouldn’t even bconnect at; Like our wifey was mad that I left a single fork in the home office sink, stupid stuff appreciate that.

Then the people I was with and I got into a fight later on about getting the wrong shade of yellow cover plus sheets. I try to rest her down plus explain why I guess the way I do, but I guess appreciate she doesn’t listen to me anymore, which is unfamiliar because she used to be such a good listener. Lately, 1 of our main fights seems to be our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C component. She believes the people I was with and I are spending way too much money on our central a/c unit. Our bill is about $295, which isn’t cheap, but I’ve heard worse. I personally believe that as long as the people I was with and I aren’t using it 24/7, then it’s no sizable deal. It has gotten to the point that she only wants me to spend money the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C bill. She purchased a ductless mini cut a/c, plus she plans on only using that for heating plus cooling. I believe that is ridiculous, but she won’t listen to what I have to say. I’m not sure what to do at this point, because the people I was with and I are disagreeing on everything, plus she won’t listen to me. Our birthday is coming up, plus I got her a gift she had been wanting for a long time, I’m hoping that will maybe heal some wounds we’ve both caused.

My life has gone downhill ever since my hubby died.

I am a single mother to my needy toddler, plus being a single parent is a drastic struggle.

My hubby was the breadwinner of the family, so when he died, I had to find a better job just to keep my family afloat. None of my relatives live close by either, so this means dropping my kid off at a afternooncare, plus he utterly hates afternooncare plus cries most of the time I’m gone. I recognize torn, I blatantly can’t take time off, I need every penny I can get, even though I recognize appreciate I am abandoning him otherwise. Then as if it couldn’t get much worse, then my a/c unit broke. I decided that I could go without Heating, Ventilation and A/C, but it seemed to bother my kid as he would nonstop cry. He would recognize hot to the touch, which greatly nervous. I started praying for a miracle, because there was no way I was going to be able to afford a Heating, Ventilation and A/C repair bill. Thankfully, my prayers were answered, plus I just happened to come by an ad from a person who was moving plus needed his seasoned mini cut ductless a/c gone as soon as possible. It was seasoned plus it couldn’t heat plus cool my entire home, but it was something plus that was enough for me. I was able to choice it up on the same afternoon, plus it has helped a ton with keeping my kid plus I hot plus cool no matter what season it was.

I occasionally recognize I bit off more than I can chew, i am an opportunistic person, so when I had my dream job offer me a position, even if it had me working ridiculous hours, I jumped on it, then, as if it couldn’t get any better, I found a website that I abruptly became popular on, plus I became a top rated writer on, that also made enough currency for me to make a living off of.

I just kept getting more plus more fantastic luck after that, appreciate getting a highly dependable car for a cheap price, because my best friend owns a dealership.

I absolutely thought it couldn’t get any better, even though I just kept getting fantastic luck! Unfortunately, it started becoming difficult to keep up with all of it. I loved my dream job plus my writing activity so much, but they began to overlap, plus I found myself getting overwhelmed. It didn’t help that I was having some concerns with my apartment as well, mainly with my heating plus cooling system. I’m still reading how to handle this much responsibility as I am used to handling a small proper job. I’m going to have to make time for both my job plus my activity in my schedule, because I refuse to give either up, however as for my Heating, Ventilation and A/C device, I already have a plan for it. I know my friend works on oil furnaces plus a/cs for a reduced price, then he is a retired Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional, so it would be great if I can get him to work on my Heating, Ventilation and A/C method.
