The residence that I just moved into has a good amount of positives and drawbacks all throughout.

If I had to get started with the good things, I’d say that the view out the back is entirely beautiful.

Even though I’m on the first floor, there is a sizable lake behind our complex that is home to several odd species of birds, fish, otters, and other woodland creatures. The only other positive that actually comes to mind is the amazing price I paid to get the unit. Woefully, this locale is in various ways in full disrepair. There was considerable disfigurement to the drywall in several odd locales. I had to fill the holes and refinish the surface before adding a brand new coat of paint. Then I ripped up all of the old and nasty carpeting from the 1970s and threw it all into the dumpster outside. I had boxes of laminate flooring ready to install that I found on clearance at a local hardware store. These were setbacks that I was able to control; the worst aspects are the things beyond my control. The noise I hear from above everyday is truly daunting, and the noise in our actual room from our neighbor’s Heating and A/C condenser. Alas, both of our condensers are right along the wall that separates our room from the back of the residence. The window a few feet down on the same wall lets in a bunch of the noise, especially during the night hours. Some Heating and A/C condenser units aren’t especially loud, while some older machines might make lots of noise as their fans oscillate. I wish they would substitute their a/c machine already, because our condenser is almost twice as immense however is merely half as loud by comparison.

The window a few feet down on the same wall lets in plenty of the noise, especially during the evening. Some Heating plus A/C condenser appliances aren’t all that loud, while some older machines might make a huge amount of noise as their fans oscillate. I wish they would update their air conditioner machine already, because our condenser is roughly twice as sizable however is roughly half as loud by comparison.

Some Heating, Ventilation, & A/C condenser units aren’t especially loud, while some older machines might make a bunch of noise as their fans oscillate. I do wish they would replace their air conditioner appliance already, because our condenser is almost twice as sizable however is about half as loud when you make the comparison.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic started, I went to yoga at a hot yoga studio about four times a week.

The studio had central heat set to about 90 degrees and had two space heaters in the room as well.

I loved hot yoga because I felt that I sweat out all of my toxins and the heat allowed me to get deeper into the poses. My yoga studio closed when gyms and other non-essential businesses closed in my area to prevent the spread of COVID-19. At first I was really sad about not being able to practice yoga in the heated studio with the yoga instructor and other students. I missed the feeling of community, sweating and feeling all of the endorphins after class. I started practicing yoga at home in my living room using an app with the air conditioner on. At first I didn’t like it as much because I didn’t sweat as much due to the air conditioner being on and I missed the feeling of the community. As time went on, my yoga studio opened back up with regulations in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Now that I have the opportunity to go back to what I miss, I honestly don’t want to. Practicing yoga at home in the air conditioning allows me to work harder. Now I know if I’m sweating it is because my body is working hard, not just because the room I’m in has the thermostat set to 90 degrees. For now I will stay safe at home and practice yoga in the comfort of my air conditioned apartment.

Have you ever been to someone’s house and upon entering you realize it just is not clean at all? I’ve experienced this a few times in my life and it has deeply bothered me for multiple reasons.

I consider myself to be a clean person.

I like to keep my house clean because I feel that if you are living in a space you should keep it as clean and sanitary as possible. I also have really bad allergies and too much dirt, dust, or dander triggers my allergies and makes me suffer from itchy eyes, running nose and dry throat. The first dirty house situation I experienced was when I was in college. I was dating someone and he was sharing a home with three roommates. It seemed as though they never cleaned their home. There were dirty dishes stacked up, pizza boxes, and trash everywhere. They had central air conditioning in their home and I noticed that the vents were caked up with dust. I didn’t even want to imagine what their air conditioner filter looked like. The second time this happened was when I was staying in a vacation home. The home itself wasn;t the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, but it definitely wasn’t the cleanest. There was a layer of dust on top of the ceiling fans. This house also had central air conditioning and the vents were covered in dust as well. It amazes me that people don’t take the time to remove dust from their air conditioner vents. I understand that some air conditioner vents are on the ceiling so it may be hard to reach, but simply getting a ladder and cleaning the dust off of vents can help prevent allergies and even help those who have asthma.

I have to say that I have been awfully fortunate throughout my life.

That’s not to say that I didn’t work hard for everything I have.

It’s just that along the way, there have been really key people and instances that have propelled me along the way. I wasn’t much into college as all I really wanted to do was get to making money with my own business. First, there was a landscaping and maintenance service the worked out really well. From there, I decided to branch out into commercial cleaning. This was gong to take all my savings and some help. That help came in the form of a great mentor that believed in me. His loan enabled me to invest in transportation and equipment. From there on, it just took off. I began by providing basic custodial services but quickly branched out into commercial carpet cleaning and floor stripping & waxing. That led to monthly floor maintenance, office cleaning and even supplying cleaning products. The commercial cleaning business was a huge success. Now, we have many crews that do a great job throughout the city. In an effort to give back, my wife and I have decided to bring our commercial cleaning services to those residential jobs that need it. We are targeting single moms and dads basic maid service at a very nominal fee. Just enough to cover labor part of the labor costs. Being able to do this for people who don’t have the money for a cleaning service is a real blessing for us. This way, perhaps I am providing a bit of a push for those out there that are trying so hard to get ahead.

I am an HVAC technician now, but I do not plan to be just an HVAC technician for the rest of my life.

I did not become a master HVAC technician just so that I could work for some other HVAC technician.

I don’t want to just make the owner of some random HVAC company rich. One day, I plan to start my own HVAC company. I don’t want to work on HVAC units for my entire life. Don’t get me wrong. I love working in HVAC units. If I didn’t want to work on HVAC units, I would have never decided to become an HVAC technician. There are so many other types of businesses that I could have started. However, I like working on HVAC units. However, what I really want to do is own my own HVAC company. I would love to guide other HVAC technicians. I would love to run the company that provides so much HVAC support to my city. Right now, the only thing that is stopping me is experience. I may be a master HVAC technician, but I do not have the experience needed to run my own HVAC company. I am currently working as an HVAC technician while I finish a business degree. Once I am a very competent HVAC technician, I plan to leave this HVAC company and start a new HVAC company in a different area. I do not want to compete with my old HVAC company because I really like them. They have helped me so much. I would like to run a small HVAC company in a decent-sized town that doesn’t have an HVAC company. This is my goal.

I have been an HVAC technician for a long time, and I have worked with the same HVAC company for as long as I have been an HVAC technician.

In fact, I am the oldest and most experienced HVAC technician in the HVAC company, but I am not the owner of the HVAC company.

I have worked for three different owners of this HVAC company. There have been two owners that I liked that ran the HVAC company, and one of the owners that I have worked for I do not like at all. However, I still just worked as an HVAC technician under the HVAC company no matter who the owner was. There have been times that I have been offered ownership of the HVAC company. In fact, when the first two owners decided to retire, they both asked me if I would be willing to take over the HVAC company. I was flattered by the offer, but I would never want to be the owner of an HVAC company. I have seen the owners of the HVAC companies, and they never look happy. They have to do all sorts of paperwork and have to worry about all of the details of the HVAC company. They also have to keep track of all of the HVAC technicians. I enjoy HVAC work. I enjoy installing and repairing HVAC units. If I were to become the owner, I wouldn’t be able to do that anymore. That is why I am very content to be just an HVAC technician. Why would I want to give my dream job up to become the owner?
