When I was a little kid and my oldest brother had terrible asthma attacks. There were more than a few occasions when he couldn’t breathe and wound up in the emergency room because none of his emergency implements were working at home. The strange thing for everybody was seeing what a little athlete my brother was. He always had an incredible ability to play any sports and dominate the field. He was the best player on every team despite the fact that he couldn’t breathe half of the time. Late at night is when his asthma attacks would overtake his little system and we would have dramatic family evenings waiting for my brother to be able to breathe again. The doctors and my parents were baffled by his respiratory distress. Eventually, we realized but his asthma was caused by our air ducts. One doctor finally asked how our central heating and cooling system was doing. It seems like a random question for the medical professional to inquire about air indoor air quality and air temperature control systems. We thought maybe he was just a weirdo with a strange thermostat obsession. Until… My parents answered honestly that the heating and cooling system wasn’t in such great shape. Apparently our air conditioning system was rather old and the furnace was even older. My parents never called a professional heating and cooling technician to handle the routine service appointments with our heating and cooling equipment. When a professional HVAC tech took a look at our air ducts he was actually revolted. No wonder my brother could never breathe, our house was choking with clogged ductwork.

A few weeks ago my roommate approached me with a brand new idea for saving extra money.

• She said she has been doing research for a while about reducing our indoor energy expenditure every month.

We have been paying rather high energy bills for our routine utilities every month. Both of us have been trying to save up cash for quite a while but we are having a hard time when the energy company was draining our accounts every month. We knew that we needed to reduce our energy expenditure but it was difficult when the outdoor climate is so miserable all the time. We were keeping our air conditioner on relatively low but it was still rather expensive to keep the cooling system running 24/7. My roommate decided that the time to cut our air conditioning abuse was now. We weren’t going to use the central AC system everyday anymore. Apparently, this would save us a ton of money if we could cut our cooling system usage at least 50%. I asked how we were going to accomplish this air-conditioning feat and we decided there were two good options. We could either remember to turn off the AC unit every single time we left the house so that the cooling system didn’t operate all day long. Otherwise, we could use the cooling system for half of the days of the week. Both of these air quality issues sounded pretty terrible… But then again so do our sky high on energy bills. I guess you must suffer to make progress, including with your air conditioning system.

 

 

Heat and AC products

The other day I was talking to one of my co-workers about his recent trip out of town to yet another friend’s wedding.

Apparently, he’s been in over ten weddings in the past year.

This sounds absolutely terrible to me as someone who does not enjoy going to these ceremonies whatsoever. Obviously it was getting pretty old to this guy too, because he is having trouble coping with all of the traveling and stress. He said the last wedding was so anxiety-inducing that he was hitting the bar very hard. When he had to get up and catch his flight the next morning he was absolutely hungover and miserable. Then he had to endure several hours at the airport and on a plane feeling terrible with no control over his indoor environment. This includes the air quality and air temperature. If you’ve been to an airport recently you know that the ventilation is nothing amazing. Some of the airport feels like there is no AC or ventilation whatsoever. The air will be very hot, humid, and stagnant as you stand in endless lines. After that, you’ll find that other parts of the airport are filled with air conditioning on full blast. It’s like you’re standing in a walk-in freezer rather than waiting for your aircraft in a well-managed HVAC environment. My coworker said this was all very miserable but the worst part of his experience was the indoor air temperature control on the airplane. He managed to get on an airplane with a broken ventilation system. The poor guys didn’t even have his own AC vent to point at his hungover face for 10 hours. Today I learned a lesson about airplanes, AC, and drinking.

I legitimately had no system what to expect while I was in my first day at the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C college. I had just finished high college, plus I already knew that I was enrolled to start training as an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier. I felt so unprepared to start studying about becoming an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier. I have literally never tested an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C device before. I know that a lot of people learn how to fix Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units from their Mom or something, but my Mom didn’t know how to fix Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units. Whenever our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units stopped laboring, my Mom consistently had to call an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier. In fact, the only reason that I wanted to become an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier was that I found out how much my Mom had to pay the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier to fix the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units. If they make that much money fixing Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units, I wanted to do it too. However, I did not know what to expect from Heating, Ventilation plus A/C college. Would all of the students know about Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units? Would I be the only one that had never tested an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C device before? Were we expected to know a lot about fixing Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units? I was literally terrified about being bad at fixing Heating, Ventilation plus A/C units. Thankfully, training as an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier has been going well. There were a lot of students that had no experience care about me, plus the college started right at the start of Heating, Ventilation plus A/C training. I now assume confident that I will still be able to become a superb Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier. I just need to labor taxing plus study.

 

Local business

Close to my house, there is an incredibly seasoned abandoned mining town… Apparently our section was a common hotspot for gold, plus hopeful people would come down to blow holes in the mountains plus mine for gemstones plus gold.

I have consistently been interested in the seasoned city plus have explored it several times… For the most part, a lot of the stuff was looted, plus the buildings have long decayed, although some seasoned device plus papers were still left out, which were interesting to look at… One day, I decided that I should try to explore the mine that the city has.

I took my friend with me, plus I was able to find the mine relatively fast. It was boarded up, but the wood has rotted from constant rainfall, plus it was easy to peel away. I hopped inside plus my friend followed me. One of the first things I noticed is how hot it was in there! I was right away greeted with a hot gust of air. It felt prefer a oil furnace just blew in my face! I thought I would get used to it, but I didn’t plus as much as I enjoyed exploring the mine, the heat made it difficult. The heat only got worse as we made the decision to go further on through the maze of a mine. As I went further I felt prefer I was choking on the heat plus we had to turn around. I climbed out plus breathed the fresh air. I went back beach cabin plus sat close to the air conditioner vent. I was honestly thrilled for cooling systems at that moment. Even though it was hot in there, I already planned on taking a mini cooling fan with me, to upgrade an a/c next time I go exploring down there.

I’ve consistently been a actually light sleeper. The slightest noise wakes myself and others up, then for the past 10 years or so, I’ve been wearing earplugs at night simply because our forced air gas furnace plus cooler wake myself and others up. Every single time the air conditioner gas furnace kicks on I fall out of sleep. This has been proven on our smart watches. They track your sleep patterns. Even if I do not suppose I am awake, the watch knows I am awake. So ear plugs have just become a area of life for me, recently, our partner plus I have been talking about moving the family to a lake house closer to where we both work. So we have been looking at houses. I suppose I may have found the lake house I actually want. The two of us saw it yepterday. It’s much closer to both of our workplaces, the dining room is amazing, however what I care about most of all, is its heating plus cooling systems. This lake house has an underfloor heating plus cooling system! No more forced air systems, with underfloor heating plus cooling, I understand it’s almost completely quiet. That would be amazing. I did not suppose that a completely quiet heating or cooling plan existed. I hadadore to be able to hear the rains fall at night or the parakeets singing in the early afternoon. I can’t do that with ear plugs. However, I hadcare about to not be able to hear our Heating plus A/C plan all night long. I suppose I will be able to do that with underfloor heating plus cooling. So I actually hope they accept our offer plus we get this house. I am actually looking forward to it.

furnace/heater

My roommates and I are typically fighting over the thermostat settings. I love the temperature set to about 69 degrees all the time. My roommate Becky, likes the temperature a lot higher. She likes it about 69°. Then there is Regan. Regan likes the temperature around 81 degrees. We’re always getting up and changing the thermostat. It’s not bad if only 1 or multiple of us is beach condo however when all 3 of us are home, it’s a constant battle. Recently, Regan has taken it upon herself to call out an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company and see if the two of us cannot get it so that we’re all comfortable. She has decided to have zone control installed in the house. The only problem with that is that he didn’t ask me or Becky first. She just signed the paperwork and expects us to pay our portion. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company is coming on Sunday to install the zone control, then don’t get me wrong, I assume zone control would be wonderful for this house. Then the two of us can each set the temperature the way the two of us love it in our own room. I do not even assume that the price of the zone control is that extreme. It’s just that I genuinely cannot afford it right now. Besides, the zone control will not genuinely help for the kitchen. Every one of us still have to option a temperature and stick with it in each room of the house. When the two of us are all here together, we’re usually in the kitchen. So I genuinely do not see the point in paying all that money when we’re still going to be fighting over the thermostat in the end.

I pulled a muscle in my back. I could absolutely believe it pop when I was lifting weights at the gym. I should not have put that extra 50 pounds on the barbell, then so now I’m in a lot of pain. I have also absolutely set my exercise goals back at least a month. I’m not going to be able to exercise until my back is completely healed. I did end up going to the doctor and they provided me some cream to put on my back muscle. It helps a little bit however not genuinely much. It hurts to walk. It hurts to do anything. I had a lot of trouble sleeping last night because my back hurts so bad. So I decided to get out of bed… That’s when I noticed how moderate the floors are, every one of us have radiant floors. I never genuinely thought much about them except that they were convenient and much more quiet than forced air heaters. However, I swiftly got the plan that I would love to lay on the nice moderate floor. I assumed it would believe wonderful on my back, then and you guess what? It did. I ended up falling asleep right there on the floor with the radiant heat soaking through my back muscles. In the morning, I assumed I would have a lot of trouble getting off of the heated floor due to my back pain. But I absolutely didn’t. I could genuinely believe the strained muscle however it wasn’t super painful. I assume I’m going to beginning sleeping on the radiant floors for a few nights now. I bet my back will be in wonderful shape in no time.

When I bought my house I knew I wanted to do a giant remodel before I moved all my stuff in… I looked around the house room by room trying to figure out what I liked the least.

I hated that the house was all brown carpet, however rugs tend to hold aromas, dirt as well as look horrible.

I have a sandy backyard as well as I didn’t want to consistently be vacuuming up sand, however once I began pulling up the rugs I realized I wasn’t unearthing beautiful hardwood floors, but rather plywood. I needed to completely redo every floor in the home. I recently got to experience zone control in this airbnb my friends plus I rented.

• The upstairs had the study room, family room plus several study rooms.

The downstairs was a remodeled basement with a study room. I paid a little extra to have my own room plus be separated from the group. The basement thermostat totally controlled only that HVAC equipment. It was absolutely nice since the ladies upstairs were constantly fighting over A/C plus the exact temperature it was set at. I just adjusted my thermostat to 71 degrees plus left it the whole trip. The only negative to basement living was the air quality. A basement is below ground level so naturally it is quite musty. Additionally the air quality is a little wet like. The homeowners did have a dehumidifier in the basement that was working 24/7. There was even a sign on the little device begging me not to turn it off. There were no worries on that front; Even with the A/C drying out the air quality plus the dehumidifier, the air felt almost like a jungle. If I left clothes out they felt a little damp plus cold. My laptop regularly had a layer of mist on it. I didn’t absolutely like that wet feeling all night long. It just goes to show you that HVAC can only take you so far. The basement is a livable space, but I wouldn’t want to stay there forever. Four days with the wet indoor air conditions was just about all I could stand. I was ready to go when the trip was over.
