My partner prefers a household project, however i have never met a man that prefers to do things around the house more than my partner; Do you know most boys don’t like to do manual labor, although I know that’s a pressing generalization.

However, my partner is not like normal boys as well as he prefers to do things around the house that most boys would not like to do, but so, when my associate and I found out that our heating as well as cooling system wasn’t working last weekand it needed to be replaced, my partner decided that he would buy all the parts that were needed for the heating as well as cooling system as well as replace them himself.

I told my partner this would be more than just an Heating as well as Air Conditioning repair, however he insisted that he would be able to complete the Heating as well as Air Conditioning insulation as well as my associate and I didn’t need to call a local Heating as well as Air Conditioning contractor because he would handle it! My partner is a real go-getter as well as you have to admire this quality about him, although I guess he has taken on more than he realizes when it comes to the heating as well as cooling system. I am just going to tell my partner to do what he wants because I know in the end it will be better for both of us for him to have his way. There are a couple things in life that you know when you spend extra cash on it it’s worth it, you know that you’re spending extra cash & at the end of the afternoon it will all be worth it because you were getting a better outcome.

However, there are some things I worry about that aren’t worth the cash.

Some things are just more luxurious because they can be. So, when it comes to my heating & cooling repair in my apartment I regularly want to make sure that I am getting the best deal possible. I entirely don’t guess it’s worth it to spend extra cash on heating & cooling repair for the most part you might be able to do most of the repairs yourself. Thankfully my mom raised me so that I knew how to repair heating & cooling systems & not have to call a heating cooling contractor to do it for me. I know that most moms don’t teach their daughters how to do things like this & for that I am honestly grateful. I know my mom went out of his way to teach me things so that I would be a more useful person as a group. And for that I am grateful. I guess that I’m going to have to call the local heating cooling contractor for this next issue because I’m not sure I will be able to repair it on my own & I don’t want to mess up my current heating & cooling system because I know my spouse would be honestly unhappy with me if I did.

However, there is one thing I find quite annoying about my current place.

I live in a honestly small house. I have recently moved in & so far I am loving it. I feel like I finally have a space that I could call my own & it’s so nice to just be able to come apartment every afternoon & not have to worry that someone elses things are scattered all around my apartment. However, there is one thing I find quite annoying about my current place. I knew it was small & that I would be sharing a wall with my neighbor next-door, although I did not expect that I would be able to hear everything that was going on at my neighbors house! Right now I can literally hear his cellphone conversation with his mother & they are talking about supper plans for Friday. I didn’t expect that I would be able to get a firsthand look at my neighbors life like this, and one thing I kind of find funny is that I can really hear his heating & cooling system through the walls. I know this isn’t a fantastic thing because it is quite loud & I don’t want to hear his heating & cooling system all afternoon every afternoon, although I do find it comical that my good friend and I live so close to each other that I can hear his heating & cooling system. One afternoon I’m going to tell him that I could hear her Heating & Air Conditioning system although I don’t want to make him feel awkward now by telling him.

The trip was great but I was looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and now that wasn’t going to happen for several days

For Christmas last year the kids gave my husband and I a trip to the Caribbean. This year we are celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary so it was nice to have a way to get away. We booked our trip for the middle of February so we can escape the ice and cold for two weeks. We flew to Miami where we were to meet our ship and when we left the house everything was fine. We had arranged to have the mail stopped and one of our neighbors was going to keep an eye out for anything they saw that might be a problem. The problem was, what was going on inside the house was not visible from the outside. Apparently while we were gone the furnace had broken and no one had any way of knowing. I’m not sure how long it had been off, but, all I know is that we came home to a basement filled with about an inch of ice and broken pipes throughout. The temperature is while we were gone were in the twenties so over time the house got too cold causing the pipes to break and flood part of the basement and the kitchen area. This damage was evident from the moment that we walked in and my husband called the HVAC company while I made reservations at a local hotel. The trip was great but I was looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and now that wasn’t going to happen for several days. The HVAC people were great and showed up within an hour to repair the furnace but as it started to warm the house we had a lot of cleaning to do. The neighbor came over to help and apologized for not knowing that something was wrong but we assured him that there was no way he could have. There hasn’t been a power outage or anything so he never would have suspected there was a problem with the furnace.

In our area we experienced some rather intense storms. During the summer we can get tornadoes and thunderstorms that cause significant damage. My mom always worried about the big pine trees that were located near her home and one summer decided to have them cut down. What she hadn’t realized was the fact that these trees provided most of her shade during the day. I removing them she increased the temperature of her house significantly and had no way to cool it off other than increasing the amount of use on her air conditioner. Her energy bills went up significantly and she was complaining that she could not afford to cool the house any longer. Not only has she had to pay someone to remove the trees she was now paying nearly 25% more in her energy bill each month. She realized too late that this was a mistake and the only way we could attempt to fix any of it was to have the insulation increased in the attic. Once again she had to pay to have someone do that as well. We took care of sealing the windows and doors to help prevent the cold air escaping but overall she will still have to pay more each month. She had the trees removed because she felt it was going to possibly damage her house one day but I think she would have been better off to leave them. If you are fortunate enough to have shade trees to protect your house from the Summer sun you might want to think twice before removing them.

I took a job at a local hospital working overnights as an ER nurse.

The shift can be either extremely boring, or, you can have a night so hectic that all you want to do is fall into bed when you get home.

It was tough to adjust to being up all night and trying to sleep during the day but over the years I have become accustomed to it. The hardest part of this adjustment was trying to drown out the sounds of everyday life while trying to fall asleep. When I first took the job I had an apartment that didn’t have any sort of air conditioning so I had to leave the windows open for fresh air. This made it very difficult to sleep due to the noise of traffic, people walking by, and even the birds. I could block out the light with shades but I could not block out the noise. When I finally saved up enough to buy my own house my number one priority was a top of the line heating and air conditioning system. I didn’t even care if the other appliances were outdated because I really don’t do much cooking anyway. All I wanted was to know that I could close the house up, be comfortable, and block out the noise of the world around me during the day. This was really the best present I ever gave myself. I now get a peaceful days rest and I am recharged for my next shift without a problem. Anytime anyone complains that they can’t sleep during the day, I always ask them the same question, do you have a good HVAC system? If they say they don’t, I give them the name of my HVAC dealer and tell them to give them a call.

Tent camping allows us to not only afford more frequent vacations, but it also allows us to explore areas that we would not be able to if we had a large camper.

One of my favorite memories growing up was going camping every summer with my family at Myrtle Beach. The only problem was that Mom and Dad always thought it was important for us to have the true camping experience. This meant sleeping in a tent and dealing with whatever came with that. As an adult, I too enjoy camping with my family, however there is one key difference, we must have electricity. The very idea of waking up in the morning and not being able to brew a cup of coffee is torture to me. We also enjoy having the ability to run a fan in the tent when it is hot or plug in a small electric heater when it is too cold. My husband found some great insulated mats that cover the entire tent floor so it’s actually pretty comfortable to sleep in. Tent camping allows us to not only afford more frequent vacations, but it also allows us to explore areas that we would not be able to if we had a large camper. There are times I am envious of those who call chill campgrounds in large RVs but that is usually when the weather is raining and we are stuck sitting under a park shelter or in the tent all day. Other than that we always enjoy our time and I feel it is well worth our money to pay a little bit extra for a site that has water and electric. I hope that one day my children look back on our summer vacations the same way that I do and we’ll continue this tradition with their own families as well.

My husband loves watching those shows about searching for gold or diving for treasure.

I have to laugh because it seems that most of the people who venture out on these Expeditions seem a bit crazy.

They spend countless hours out in the scorching Heat or the freezing cold in hopes of finding some treasure that will make them their fortune. In some cases it does work out but in most of them it seems like a hopeless cause. I happened to be in the room the other day when he turned on a program about digging for gold underneath the ocean in Alaska. For the life of me I couldn’t imagine why anyone would want to do this because the water has to be freezing cold all the time. They interviewed a man who had ice on his mustache and I could never imagine anything being worse than that. They asked how the divers could stay underwater for several hours at a time without getting hypothermia and he explained that each of the suits had heated coils that traveled throughout them to keep them warm. He explained that it works similar to a boiler system in your home because the warm water with generated up top and then circulated throughout the divers suit. If that system were to fail the diver could be in serious trouble with in no time. I did find that part of the interview fascinating and never realized that a type of HVAC system would be used in such a way. I still think the people who head out on these expeditions are a bit crazy but at least they have found ways to make themselves comfortable while doing their work.
