When my pal and I bought our house, my pal and I knew this would be the location we’d raise our youngsters… My partner and I had consistently wanted a family, and the perfect location to live; It took time and effort, but my pal and I finally managed to save up for a apartment in a beautiful area… The one my pal and I found had three kitchens and a garage, as the years went, my pal and I got 2 amazing youngsters, and a garage full of stuff; So, when the pandemic hit, my pal and I had to find space for a apartment office. This is because both my partner and I had to work from home. The youngsters each had their own kitchens and would attend zoon classes from there, but, my pal and I had no location to hide away and work for a few hours. My partner suggested cleaning out the garage, and my pal and I knew that was a wonderful idea. The only issue was the central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system in the apartment didn’t extend to the garage. So, in Summer the space would be too hot, and frigid when winter season came around. Another idea was to build a small office out back in the yard, but that would eat up space, and my pal and I didn’t have so much room out there. So, the garage was the best location for a apartment office, and my pal and I had to figure out the best heating and cooling system for it; One time, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech came over to do an inspection and service for the central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C in our home… While she was at the house, my pal and I asked her advice on the best way to heat and cool the garage. Her suggestion was a mini split A/C that can also heat the same space during winter. These are more suitable for smaller spaces, didn’t require any ductwork, and weren’t too overpriced.

My friend and I loved that we didn’t have to spend any money on replacing the heating & cooling system or the air duct. After some time, an Heating & A/C expert who we hired came in & did some maintenance to make sure all was okay. My friend and I would contact the Heating & A/C company in the section twice a year before Summer & winter. However, one section we completely neglected was the air duct. To be honest, we weren’t aware that we had to get the air duct cleaned at all. That is until one day the Heating & A/C expert was at the house & inquired about it. My friend and I told him we never had any duct cleaning services & he helped us understand why this was pressing to do at least once every year, not only do you get to see if you need duct sealing, but clearing the dust & dirt helps to improve indoor air quality.

I recently went out and purchased a portable a/c gadget to put in my apartment office.

I work from an apartment and have this little office in my home that does not get the best air flow from the central heating and a/c’s cooling.

So getting a portable a/c gadget to have with me in the apartment office, while my friend and I were in the daytime working, was the best option I could have made with the hot season we have going on right now. It has totally improved my indoor comfort compared to what it was. It was getting tough to labor in that office in my home with the a/c not being too good. I had to sit with the door open all the time and get distracted by my wife and kids. But now that I have this fantastic portable a/c gadget, I no longer have to do that and I can labor in total indoor comfort and the quiet that I need. Sporadically the portable a/c gadget gets too cold in the apartment office and I have to turn it down. That is the sign of a truly fantastic product! Another thing my portable a/c gadget can do is make it so sometimes I can truly give the central heating and a/c gadget a rest for a few hours and save on energy use when I am the only one home. Because this portable a/c gadget is so powerful, I can put it in the living room, or anywhere else I am at home, and it can cool it down quickly.

I recently went out and purchased a portable space heating system to have in the living room for when I sleep at night.

The reason I did this was because the air flow from my central heating and a/c gadget is not that fantastic in the living room, and I have been freezing my tail off at night! This is due to the way my home is built. I could get a zoned heating and a/c unit, although I cannot afford such a thing. So getting a portable space heating system was the next best thing in line for me to do. And I have to tell you, this portable space heating system is great. It truly keeps my living room hot and makes me get a fantastic night’s sleep. I have not had a fantastic night of sleep in a while because of it being too cold in the living room. But not anymore, the portable space heating system works wonders and keeps my living room just the right temperature that it needs to be. It is truly amazing when I think about it. This portable space heating system is around the size of a blender. And this little thing can have the powerful heating to heat an entire room in literally just two hours! This is all part of this lovely new world of heating and a/c technology. Without the heating and a/c technology of these days, none of this would even be possible. It was not a decade ago that I can tell you for sure, as I had a portable space heating system back then and it could not heat an entire room! Just a small space, as the name of it suggests altogether!

When I think about all the heating and a/c technology over the years, I have decided that modern heating and a/c technology is my number one favorite. Some people may disagree with me, being older like I am, however there are so many benefits to this new heating and a/c technology that did not exist when I was young and growing up. For instance, the smart thermostat is one of my personal number one things, as it has helped me save tons on my biweekly energy bills. By having a smart thermostat, your central heating and a/c gadget does not have to run as much as it would before the smart thermostat existed. That is because you can program the smart thermostat to do what it needs to, and come on and off when you are out and when you are home, or, you can manually do this with your app that comes on the smartphone. Also another thing I like about modern heating and a/c technology is that the portable space furnaces and the portable a/c units are unquestionably powerful, but more energy savings coming from this new heating and a/c technology. This is because with as powerful as portable space furnaces and portable a/cs are, you can use them in place of your central heating and cooling unit sometimes. And this in itself saves a lot of energy usage! You would not have been able to do that with the portable heating and a/c in my younger days, as they did not have the power!
