A mini split AC is perfect for a small space
When we purchased our house, we knew this would be the place we’d raise our kids.
My partner and I had always wanted a family, and the perfect place to live.
It took time and effort, but we finally managed to save up for a house in a wonderful area. The one we found had three bedrooms and a garage. As the years went, we got 2 amazing kids, and a garage full of stuff. So, when the pandemic hit, we had to find space for a home office. This is because both my partner and I had to work from home. The kids each had their own bedrooms and would attend zoon classes from there. But, we had no place to hide away and work for a few hours. My partner suggested cleaning out the garage, and we knew that was a good idea. The only issue was the central HVAC system in the house didn’t extend to the garage. So, in summer the space would be too hot, and freezing when winter came around. Another idea was to build a small office out back in the yard, but that would eat up space, and we didn’t have so much room out there. So, the garage was the best place for a home office, and we had to figure out the best heating and cooling system for it. One time, the HVAC tech came over to do an inspection and maintenance for the central HVAC in our home. While she was at the house, we asked her advice on the best way to heat and cool the garage. Her suggestion was a mini split AC that can also heat the same space during winter. These are more suitable for smaller spaces, didn’t require any ductwork, and weren’t too expensive.
