I decided it would be best for the plants if I put them in the window of the guest room. I have a space heating system in the guest room for when people come over because I suppose not most people enjoys cold temperatures. The space heating system should keep them plenty warm, plus to give them a boost I put them in the window so they could soak up some natural sunlight. Now I can love our lovely cold cooling system without worrying about it killing our plants.

The air conditioning system was hurting our plants

For a long time, our fiance and I have been wanting to remodel the basement, but there was an issue, our sibling in law was living down there.

My sibling in law I am not exactly close to, and he has a genuinely terrible gambling addiction.

Thanks to his addiction, he ended up losing his home and was going to be homeless. My in-laws put a lot of pressure on our fiance to accept his younger sibling into our home, so that way he is not homeless, and our fiance caved. Well that was two years ago, and our sibling in law reMEd. It wasn’t until our fiance was sick and tired of taking care of him appreciate he was taking care of our teenagers, and he gave him 1 month to get an apartment and get out. Surprisingly, he unquestionably listened and he moved out last week. Now that we finally have the time and the space, our fiance and I are planning on remodeling the basement. Both of us are discussing strange options, such as strange flooring types and paints, & up-to-date furniture, but our fiance brought up a nice point. He recommended getting a portable Heating and A/C method to put down there. The basement has constantly been much colder than the rest of the home, so a portable heating unit would be a great idea. I agreed that a portable air conditioner device was absolutely on our list of things to get, and the best part about portable heating systems is that they are cheap. We’re so excited to see how our basement is going to look when we’re done.

I have no storage in our home anywhere.

The home offices have a small closet, the lavatory has a vanity and there is a single hallway closet. In an ideal world the hallway closet would be where I would hang coats, have boots and hold cleaning supplies. Unfortunately what it holds now is our indoor air handler with the Heating and A/C and the water heater. They both take up so much space that I can only mount a broom, wedge a basket and a mop in there. What a waste of space. I have to put a shoe rack in our entryway that looks awful. I also need to keep our Winter time gear in our home office, but cleaning supplies are just all over the locale. I have started brainstorming how to open up that closet. I have decided that when the water gas furnace dies, I am doing a tankless model, but you still have a unit, but it is wall mounted and much smaller. For Heating and A/C I am going to do a ductless option. Inside will be wall mounted indoor air handlers in every room with a thermostat. That way I can have zone control and not provide Heating and A/C to unused rooms. I also free up more than 50% of the closet space. After those two changes I will have plenty of space to store some things. I have diagnosed the ages on our equipment. It looks appreciate our Heating and A/C is 16 years old, so it will go anday now. Sadly our water gas furnace is only 4 years seasoned and will be in there for awhile, but getting a portion of the closet would just be nice at this point.

My home came with a woodstove in the middle of the home office.

The TV had to be put in a corner since the wood stove was centrally located and stuck out.

It made everything believe cramped and smaller. I hated the wood stove because it was ugly and not genuinely functional. After a peek inside I realized the previous owner didn’t even use it. The guy vented it through the ceiling and even added a stack to the roof. It could be used, he just never did. It sat on a brick pad that the home office rug was chop around. I hated it so terrible and never used that furnace. One day I decided enough is enough. I knew it would be valuable even though I wanted the gas furnace gone. The home had a central heating method so it was pointless. It took up space and I could genuinely get money for it. I had to get roofers to disaffix the addition on the roof. I needed to patch our wood ceiling where the vent went. I then had to enlist help to transport the cast iron gas furnace and then sell it online. Some guy got the gas furnace for his hunting shack. It apparently is too small to be a home heater. My local Heating and A/C contractor scoffed at it. Even once the gas furnace was gone, I had work. I needed to disaffix the brick pad and our home office rug. I then bought a up-to-date rug to cover the whole floor completely. After all that was done, I finally had the home office that I wanted.

I installed ceiling fans to push the heat down from the ceiling in the Winter time and encourage the heat up and out in the summer. I’ve also enrolled into a maintenance method with a licensed Heating and A/C corporation.
