Completely redoing the basement in our home
For a long time, our fiance and I have been wanting to remodel the basement, but there was an issue, our sibling in law was living down there.
My sibling in law I am not exactly close to, and he has a genuinely terrible gambling addiction.
Thanks to his addiction, he ended up losing his home and was going to be homeless. My in-laws put a lot of pressure on our fiance to accept his younger sibling into our home, so that way he is not homeless, and our fiance caved. Well that was two years ago, and our sibling in law reMEd. It wasn’t until our fiance was sick and tired of taking care of him appreciate he was taking care of our teenagers, and he gave him 1 month to get an apartment and get out. Surprisingly, he unquestionably listened and he moved out last week. Now that we finally have the time and the space, our fiance and I are planning on remodeling the basement. Both of us are discussing strange options, such as strange flooring types and paints, & up-to-date furniture, but our fiance brought up a nice point. He recommended getting a portable Heating and A/C method to put down there. The basement has constantly been much colder than the rest of the home, so a portable heating unit would be a great idea. I agreed that a portable air conditioner device was absolutely on our list of things to get, and the best part about portable heating systems is that they are cheap. We’re so excited to see how our basement is going to look when we’re done.
