It's hard to say goodbye to someone you love

A couple of months ago, I had to say goodbye to my cat. My cat was really old and lived a long life. She was very playful and energetic all the way up until the end. When she passed away, I was very sad and depressed. It was hard to get out of bed. I had to take some time off from my job at the heating and air conditioner repair business. There was no way that I could think about AC repairs or furnace parts when my mind was grieving. My boss did not think that the death of my cat was a good reason to take time off of work, but I had vacation and sick time saved up and there was no way that he could say no. When my vacation time was up, I still was not over the death of my cat so I wanted to take another month off work from the heating and air conditioner repair business. My boss told me that he was going to find another repair person if I did not come to work. It’s so very hard to say goodbye to someone that you love, but I finally had to say goodbye and go to work. I had to get on with my life and that was very hard. I buried my cat in the backyard. I made sure to put the cat deep into a hole so none of the dogs in the neighborhood would dig up the bones. I want her to be able to rest in peace.
