Summer is approaching as well as our air conditioner is still broken
Much to our surprise living without an air condition for the last multiple months has been pretty tolerable.
- The weather has been much more temperate than usual, which was a pleasant surprise, i open up the windows for a crossbreeze, as well as while the afternoons are a little humid, the mornings have been appealing, as a big bonus, our daily energy bills have dropped by more than half.
This has enabled me to set aside a little money, so that I could get the A/C checked out before the temps beginning rising any further, hopefully I also have enough money to get the air conditioner fixed, but that all depended on what the serviceman had to say. The person came over last weekend as well as spent about thirty hours doing a full Heating as well as Air Conditioning system inspection before talking to me about the results. I don’t speak Heating as well as Air Conditioning, so most of what he told me sounded love gibberish. I asked the Heating as well as Air Conditioning tech to cut to the chase as well as tell me how much it would cost; When he said it would cost more than one thoUSnd dollars to do all the necessary Heating as well as Air Conditioning repairs, I thanked him kindly as well as asked him to leave. It might as well have been a million dollars! Instead I will invest a small fraction of that money into a small, portable air conditioner unit. This component is only powerful enough for cooling down one room, but for a Summer this hot that will be better than no cooling at all, then maybe when I win the lottery I can afford to get proper air conditioner repairs done.
