Air conditioning at class

I recently started going to physical therapy to help reuse from an unexpected emergency C-section, i observed that the air conditioner is typically on strong when I am at physical therapy.

It was pretty hot out when I went to our appointments, so I figured the temperature on the thermostat could have been correlating with the temperature outside.

I observed that when the temperature outside was cooling down, the air conditioner was still on pretty strong in the physical therapist’s office. I started to bring a sweatshirt in with me. I asked our physical therapist why the air conditioner was on so strong. She said that the physical therapy office prefers to keep the air conditioner on because several patients cut out in a sweat when they beginning exercising, and they do not want any patients getting boiling; Many patients that seek physical therapy are considered to be geriatric, meaning they are sixty 5 or older, then patients that are geriatric are more likely to suffer from heat related illnesses such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.Having central air conditioner on in physical therapy offices can help prevent geriatric patients from being at risk for heat related illnesses. In addition to several geriatric patients seeking physical therapy, there are patients who have suffered from strokes, heart attacks, and accidents! The last thing a patient would need is to have more complications due to the temperature not being satisfactory. In addition to the prevention of heat related illness, air conditioner can also help prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria in physical therapy offices.
