Being married to an HVAC worker is not so easy
Occasionally when you are married to a Heating & Air Conditioning expert, it can be pretty tough.
- They have a tendency to have entirely unusual schedules occasionally… Their schedules always depend on holidays & the weather, it seems… For instance, when the weather is brutally hot, they end up getting a lot of calls for air conditioning equipment repairs.
It’s basically one of those things that you have to learn to deal with whenever you are married to a Heating & Air Conditioning equipment worker. Whenever we first got married, his schedule wasn’t nearly as ridiculous as it is now. Back then, he was still in the training process of his professions, he had just recently finished his Heating & Air Conditioning equipment certification courses, & so he did not have a proper schedule yet at the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier that he had gone to do work for. They were basically letting him come in at odd times so that he could go & learn on different tasks from different Heating & Air Conditioning equipment pros. That way he would be totally covered & he would learn how to do everything from air conditioning repairs to gas furnace upgrades to ventilation equipment cleaning. It made sense for them to do it that way when he was first getting started, but I was under the impression that his schedule was essentially always going to be that way. Of course, that did not turn out to be the case in the slightest. These days, he works varying shifts & he hardly ever gets to choose when he is going to work. They assign him the shifts, & he has to just take them & basically deal with it. That can make things super stressful around our property because we have three teenagers that we have to run around all the time & I need help at different times.
