My older brother thinks that he is the smartest person alive

My older brother Tim literally thinks that he is the smartest person alive.

• I was hoping that he would grow out of this once we both got a little bit older, but he hasn’t.He used to always brag about everything back when we were kids, and these days he is still doing the same thing.

He used to brag about what a good baseball player he was, but these days he is bragging about his job as a commercial HVAC technician. According to him, nobody else on earth knows as much about heating and cooling as he does. I keep telling him that he comes off to people as a real know-it-all and that nobody wants to be around him, but he does not believe me. He actually has the audacity to say that I’m just jealous of him. At this point I have basically just given up trying to give him any advice on societal norms because he just does not get it. He literally drives me crazy sometimes. Now, if you are someone who needs a commercial HVAC technician, I would recommend Tim to you. He really is good at his job, and I guess he really does know what he is doing. He is constantly taking classes to improve his knowledge and he does a great job. However, if you are just looking for a guy to hang out with, stay far away from Tim! He is so annoying that you will want to stick your fingers in your ears and run far, far away from him. In other words, only hire him to work on your HVAC system. Don’t ever try to be friends with him.
