I never changed my air filters
When I first moved into my home I enjoyed how clean my air quality was.
Every time you would walk in there it was like taking a breath of fresh air.
However, this didn’t last and I noticed that gradually over time the air quality was degrading. I can never figure out why but I knew that it was getting worse and I didn’t want my air quality to continue to be this way. Then 1 summer time came along I noticed that my air conditioning component had started making some weird noises and so I was going to have a repair by a cooling professional. So I contacted the building service and they sent out a heating and AC guy to come and take a look at it. When the heating and A/C guy came over to my locale he then asked myself and others when what’s the last time that I changed my air filter? I stood there dumbfounded for a minute at his question. I dislike to admit it but I was confused. I asked him to clarify what he meant and he repeated again if I had to change my air filter recently? That is when I had to admit that I had not changed my air filter at all, and not only had I not changed it but I didn’t know that I was supposed to change my air filter. I could tell that this Heating and Air Conditioning worker found the fact that I didn’t know this clearly evident part of heating and cooling service to be funny. He then showed myself and others how to change the air filter and gave myself and others a modern air filter for free. Surprisingly, after the air filter was changed my air quality problems went away. That’s when my brain was finally able to connect the dots between the several issues. Now I change my air filter every 3 months as they recommend.
