On-call at work, missed my son’s birth

Occasionally I actually don’t like my job, when I was first going into this industry, everybody told me that it would be a wise option because heating and cooling specialists will always have work, and the air quality control industry is 1 that artificial intelligence simply cannot take over.

  • The people I was with and I will actually never develop a robot that has capable of safely entering a residential home and Performing the Heating and Air Conditioning diagnostic services which are necessary to maintain or repair a failing Heating and Air Conditioning system, however besides, most homeowners wouldn’t want a Heating and Air Conditioning robot coming into their house.

That’s why, I went into the heating and cooling industry after a few years hating my life at a several year university… I decided trade university would be a better chance and I could be a certified Heating and Air Conditioning specialist with minimal upfront investment. I did not realize that becoming an air quality control specialist would require a lot of back-end investment, and at least, as far as my time goes. I am unluckyly 1 of the on-call Heating and Air Conditioning specialists at my air quality control repair shop. That means, I never guess when an emergency appointment is going to take me away from my yearly activities, but normally, this is just a minor inconvenience… I have to get off the couch and drive my Heating and Air Conditioning work truck across the neighborhood to a loud or warm AC unit. But as I am getting older and growing a family, the Heating and Air Conditioning interruptions are getting more serious. In fact, nothing to be more extreme than the look on my partner’s face when I got an AC repair call and missed my first son’s birth.
