The air filters needed to be cleaned
My dining room is on the other side of the house, far away from the section where the A/C is located.
The dining room is never as cool as the rest of the house.
I got a temperature control one time and sited it in our dining room and the place was many degrees warmer than the section by the temperature control. I purchased a portable A/C to put in our dining room. I have no windows at all in the room, so a window A/C was completely out of the question. When I spoke with the heating and A/C professional, they proposed the portable A/C instead of a ductless unit because of cost. The portable A/C unit has 3 separate areas where there is a removable air filter that needs to be cleaned. I clean the air filter about once a week, unless I am running the A/C all of the time. I have many pets and the pet hair can get into the unit if I do not keep the air filters clean consistently. Dog hair can cause a lot of concerns to the idea if it builds up over time. During the Summer when I run the A/C every single morning, I have to clean the air vents every other week. When I know a decreased airflow in the machine, I suppose the time is right around the corner to clean it up and get rid of the dust and hair. The filter on the bottom of the unit is especially bad, because it is the one closest to the floor.
