I was ready to to yell and scream at the boy
My son has been fighting with this kid at school.
He had detention on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
I talked to my son about proper behavior at school. He told me that the boy is a bully and he was simply sticking up for himself and a few other people in the cafeteria. I did not get upset with my son, but I told him that fighting is not the answer. I did not want to see him getting into any other trouble that had to do with this particular boy. I had a few jobs on Friday and one of them was an HVAC unit installation. The ductless HVAC unit was the first job on schedule for me. I was with the customer when I received a phone call from the school. I had to send the first call to voicemail. After the customer left me alone, I listened to the voicemail. The principal demanded that I come to the school to pick up my son because he had been suspended from school for 3 days for fighting with the same boy. I was ready to yell and scream at my kid. I was very unhappy that I had to leave the ductless HVAC insulation job to deal with his behavior problems at school. When I arrived, I planned to give my son a piece of my mind. When I walked into the principal’s office, I saw my son and he had a black eye. I asked the principal how my son was suspended for fighting when he had a black eye. Then he walked me into his office where the other kid was sitting. He had two black eyes and a huge scrape down the side of his neck.
