Somebody burglarized our home
After seeing all of the missing items, I told my partner to call the police
My partner and I went on vacation for the length of a week! When the people I was with and I came back to our property from vacation, the first thing the people I was with and I noticed was the front door wide open. We don’t have any good friends or family and nobody actually has a key to our property except us. When the people I was with and I saw the door half open, the people I was with and I instantly started to worry that someone might have broken into the property. I told my partner to stay in the automobile and I slowly entered the house. I yelled a couple of times to announce myself. I did not want to startle someone if they were already inside of our property. I entered the residing room section and that was when I saw the crazy mess. It looked as if someone dumped out a bag of trash on the floor. The next thing that I noticed was the window AC equipment. It was totally missing. Someone had ripped the AC equipment right out of the window. They took everything, including all of the pieces of Styrofoam and weatherstripping that I was using to help block the air from coming inside of the property. There were other things missing from the house as well, including my expensive watch that I keep in a lock box in the home office. After seeing all of the missing items, I told my partner to call the police. We had to file a report for the AC equipment, watch, and all of the missing electronics. I doubt the people I was with and I will ever see them again though. The officer told us to contact our insurance corporation to upgrade all of the missing items and the AC equipment.
