I had to keep from wincing when I saw the homemade wooden table she had in the formal diningroom. It looked like her ten year old son had made it for her. I questioned about where she got her interior designs from? She told me she had found a young interior design student who offered to do it for her for his classroom project. He charged a minimal amount for his work and she bought all the item she wanted in the house. I wanted his name, because I didn’t want to make a mistake an hire the same interior designer she used when we moved into our new home. The rooms were gaudy and filled with mismatched furniture and other items. I could never live in a home that looked this gaudy. When I hire an interior decorator for my home, it will be someone who has a dossier and knows what they’re doing.
