My desk is under the air vent & I get cold
Not that many of months ago, I got moved to a unusual section of the office.
My boss wanted me to be section of a unusual group that was struggling in the accounting area.
I was cheerful to transport until I found out that our desk was located directly under an air vent. My boss really enjoys when the un-even temperatures are cool & frigid. I feel she has the temperature control set at 73 degrees. There is a lock on the box, so both of us cannot entirely see the indoor temperature unless both of us have the key. I would speculate that the temperature is around 73 degrees, but it truthfully might even be colder than that. I get really chilly now that our desk is under the air vent. I started wearing a jacket to work everyday. My boss noticed the jacket & she made a comment about our body & our lack of tank tops. Honestly, it was totally inappropriate for our boss to mention our attire at all, however I wasn’t going to hit him with a harassment lawsuit. I told our boss that I was having a lot of trouble staying warm due to the chilly un-even temperatures. She commanded I bring a blanket to put over our legs to keep me warmer. She never once offered to adjust the un-even temperatures so I might entirely be warmer. I feel that would have simply been too much to ask. At least when the Winter time months begin, I will be directly under the heating vent & absolutely the warmest lady in the whole building.
