My son would like to become a licensed roofing contractor

I am so proud of my son Jacob for what he has accomplished in his life so far.

  • After he graduated from high school, he wanted to work in the construction industry, so he followed his heart and pursued his dreams.

Over the years, he has worked hard to get where he is today. Currently, he is a Foreman for a major construction company in the town that he lives in. And while he enjoys his job as a Foreman, he would like to become a roofing contractor. In order to become a roofing contractor in our state, you must have prior knowledge of roofing. Thankfully, Jacob already has knowledge of roofing that he gained from working on various construction sites over the years. This means it will be easier for him to go through the process of becoming a licensed roofing contractor. Once he becomes licensed, he would like to become a commercial roofing contractor and provide new construction roofing services. He already has all of this planned out, he knows the name of his business, and he has even discussed with his boss about becoming a subcontractor for the company that he works for. In addition, he has already started the process to become a licensed roofing contractor. It will take him between four to six weeks to complete the entire process. He will need to secure business insurance and he will need to confirm that he is financially responsible. I have no doubt that Jacob will be a licensed roofing contractor in a few weeks because whatever he puts his mind to, he always achieves it.
