I Forgot to Repair My Heater Before Winter!
Thankfully, I was able to contact my local HVAC provider soon after I realized the problem was that my heater was broken.
Winter is surely my favorite season, above all else. I love spending time relaxing on my couch or in bed during winter, feeling warm, comfortable, and toasty inside my home as the low temperatures rage on outside. One of my favorite things to do is sit next to my cat with a good book and enjoy the warmth from our heating system. There’s nothing more comfortable and satisfying than soaking up the heat from a heater on a winter night. However, sometimes I forget to do my due diligence and schedule my normal heater checkups with my local HVAC technician, and because of that, bad accidents can happen. For example, my heater recently broke during the middle of winter. It was jarring to wake up one morning to a completely cold house instead of a comfortably warm one, and the discomfort was something that I could feel in nearly every part of my body. Thankfully, I was able to contact my local HVAC provider soon after I realized the problem was that my heater was broken. Neglecting to maintain your heater has some serious consequences, ones that can result in shivering and having to wrap yourself in countless layers of hoodies just to stay even a little warm on a freezing December night. Even my cat seemed uncomfortable! Thankfully, my HVAC technician was able to repair my heater before I turned into some form of a life sized, man-shaped popsicle. After this experience, it’s safe to say that I won’t let another winter approach without remembering to make sure that my heater has been seen by an HVAC professional.
