My father was 1 of these people who did not suppose in paying full price for anything.Both of us went into a pizzeria 1 day, and she tried to make a deal with the waitress.
She wanted to get her meal cheaper since she was a senior, however she told him that she could constantly order from the senior menu, but she wanted a full size meal for the senior price, which she could not get.
Last week, she was told that she needed a new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system for her house. I told dad that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation would provide him the best price they could, and that she should not try to force them to change their prices just for him. I was at the condo when the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker arrived. She checked the entire Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system to see exactly what needed to be replaced and what could be repaired. She told dad that the HVAC duct was able to be used, but it needed to be repaired and cleaned well. The heating system and the cooling system had to be replaced. I could see it in her eyes the minute she heard the words replace and repair. She was ready to wheel and deal. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C Tech told him that she was not the woman to try to make a deal with, and she would have to talk to the owner of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer. Before the young worker left, dad had him make the call and set up an appointment for him to speak to the owner of the dealer. She was planning on getting a deal on the heating system and cooling system, plus getting a free service agreement and free replacement. I could only wish him luck
