Grandma really likes the new ductless HVAC system
When I was talking with my grandmother about air conditioning, she said she never needed anything fancy like that.
I was surprised because it was always way too overheated in her home.
I asked if she was comfortable and she admitted that sometimes it would be a little too hot for her liking, but she would just put a cold rag over her head and relax. I told her she should learn more about air conditioning, so I had an HVAC professional come over to talk about the different options and benefits of A/C in the house. The HVAC professional first went over the benefits of air quality. He said with the A/C system working, it naturally improves the air quality by lowering humidity levels and filtering out dust through the air filters. He said there were many different types of A/C systems and he went over the options. The central air conditioning looked great to me, but I realized she might need updated ductwork for that. The most appealing option seemed to be the ductless HVAC systems. You could connect multiple indoor units to an outdoor condenser and you would never have to worry about any ductwork. The best thing was that these systems are able to provide both heating and cooling. Even my grandmother seemed to be interested. I was surprised when she quickly made arrangements with the HVAC professional to have a ductless HVAC installed. Ever since that time, my grandmother has been enjoying life more at home with greater comfort thanks to her new HVAC. She said she thought the energy bills would spike a lot, but she was surprised at how low they remained even when she cranks the air conditioning.
