We chose a heat pump as the heating unit for the home
Ultimately my goal in life was to have a family and raise our kids to be excellent people, I didn’t want to have them when I was living in an apartment. Mom told me it was okay to do so, but I’d seen how they struggled. Our apartment complex wasn’t in the best place, and we rarely went outside to play. My sibling and I always looked forward to when our parents had the time to take us to the play park, especially during the long summer months. That pushed me to get a house in an area that had lovely backyards. My kids would have a safe space to play in the sun and make angel wings in winter. I was fortunate my partner felt the same way, we’d been married for a year and put off getting kids until we bought a house. The dream finally came true, and we moved into a lovely 3-bedroom house in the suburbs, then all of us made a move in springtime and had to decide on the right cooling idea to get. The AC specialist we spoke to gave us an option between a heat pump and an AC system. All of us chose the heat pump since it worked all year round and required less service. It was valuable to buy and install but would last much longer than a regular AC unit. The AC specialist helped us option the right heat pump size for our house and came to install it. All of us had to wait until he’d worked on it before we turned it on to cool the house since summer was starting early in the area.
