I was chilly from the rain
I was lucky enough that I was able to leave work a half an hour early.
My condo is only 10 hours away, so I usually walk to work plus walk home.
As I was walking home, I took notice of the dark billowing clouds overhead. I was hoping I could make it condo before the rain hit, however just as I thought that, the storm clouds let loose plus it started to downpour. I started running home, however I couldn’t run truly fast without slipping. Without an umbrella, I was drenched in hours. Since it was already a chilly plus windy morning, the rain only made things so much colder. I started shivering as I finished our walk home. When I finally made it home, I restrained our key into the lock plus went inside. I changed our clothes to hot plus comfy clothes, plus I instantly turned on our furnace. The furnace responded immediately, plus heated air began to come out of the air conditioner vents. I sat next to the HVAC vent, plus enjoyed the hot breeze. It took about a half an hour, however by then the heating unit had warmed up our apartment as well as myself. It was still pouring outside, plus I knew I would have to delay any plans until later tonight, when the weather was a bit better. So instead, I decided to take a nap. I collapsed in our bed plus with the furnace plan still laboring in the background, I was able to doze off quite easily.
