I work at a career center
I work at a local career center, which is basically a technical school for people who are looking to learn a trade of some sort. Our most popular series of classes is our heating and cooling series. People sign up for it every single time that it’s offered and everyone seems to love it for some reason. I personally think that the main reason people like the HVAC classes is because of the two instructors. The two guys who run the class are amazing. They are great teachers and they know everything that there is to know about furnaces, air conditioning systems, and air purification systems. They also know about fireplaces and radiant heated flooring. They are funny and engaging, and they both used to be HVAC technicians. As a matter of fact, whenever they first started doing the class, it was because they were each looking for something to do after they retired from owning their own commercial HVAC company here in town. They are brothers and so they really work well together and all of the people who come out of their classes really seem to know what they are doing. Lots of students who come through the courses and earn their HVAC certifications go out and find immediate employment in the area at one of the local heating and cooling companies. I guess it’s not really a surprise that this is the most popular class series that we offer at the technical school. If I didn’t already work here, I would probably want to take those classes too!
