I’m so thankful that my buddy helped me find my way

I have to admit, I didn’t enjoy school especially much, but I did get reasonable grades. When I put my mind to it, I could write a mean paper or do just fine with all the math equations. When it came to studying books, I preferred my comic books or various other books with tales of adventures. So when people asked me what college I was going to, I never really had an answer. I said that I might go to some community college, but I honestly thought it would be a waste of time and money. I know most people don’t see it that way, but I did because there were not a lot of things that interested me when I was young. Well, my eyes opened when a buddy of mine said that he went to a local career fair and the HVAC professional really made an impact on him. He said he was dedicated and he wanted to become an HVAC professional. He even started talking about owning his own HVAC supplier sometime in the future. I thought it sounded like an excellent career path and realized that going for a trade like being an HVAC worker or a plumber, would be a smart move. Why not learn a valuable skill and be your own boss in life? So I told my buddy that I wanted to join him in his path. We worked hard together and honestly, I probably couldn’t have made it if it weren’t for my buddy helping me every step of the way. It was boring learning about the history of HVAC systems and how to install and troubleshoot issues, but it was worth it! I have the best career and I thank my buddy for that all the time. He still plans on opening his HVAC business and I will be there to support him.
