By the time I was done cleaning as well as replacing the air filter, the oil furnace never started. I called an HVAC business to come look at it as well as he provided myself and others poor news. Unfortunately, the HVAC system had sat unused for so long that the outside component had frozen. In order to thaw it out, he had to turn off the temperature control as well as then run the fan for multiple hours. I let the fan run all day as well as when I returned the following day, our oil furnace began to run after I turned it on.
