Converting from oil to natural gas heating

When my husband plus I bought our home, it was outfitted with an oil furnace… I wasn’t thrilled about it, this meant that every one of us had a large, ugly fuel tank situated in our yard. I needed to schedule fuel delivery. I continually uneasy about the fuel tank rupturing, running out of fuel plus potentially going separate from heat during the middle of a blizzard. Oil heating has a strange odor plus isn’t over energy efficient. I wanted to take luck of the perks of a natural gas furnace… Gas is a cleaner burning fuel plus is available in an endless supply. The gas gas furnaces on this week’s market are exceptionally energy efficient plus offer all sorts of convenient features. I expected that the project would be cost-prohibitive. I was reluctant to update a furnace that was still functional. After a few years however, the old furnace was showing its age. It was no longer keeping up with demand plus requiring frequent little repairs. I finally asked the local Heating & A/C professional for a estimate on oil to gas conversion. I was prepared to pay just about anything rather than purchase a new oil heater. The cost of converting to natural gas was not nearly as extravagant as expected. I made up for it by spending a ton of money on a top-of-the-line gas furnace. I chose a model with all of the latest features plus highest possible AFUE rating. I am so satisfied with how much more comfortable my cabin feels, and even on the coldest Winter afternoons, every room is perfectly warm. The cabin now odors better plus stays cleaner. The savings on my daily energy bills help to reuse the investment.
