Finding a similar solution to radiant heated floors
I’ve been talking about this to pretty much everyone I talk to.
Essentially every winter season, I lament about how frigid our floors are.
My floors honestly feel like they have a layer of ice beneath them as well as I need to change it in a jiffy. This past year, I was told I have arthritis in my feet. I was thinking that I had simply broken my toe when I stubbed it early in the hot season. The healthcare worker did some x-rays as well as told myself and others the toe wasn’t broken, but it was arthritic. He pointed out unusual other parts of my feet that were also affected by arthritis. Bones were being realigned, as well as there were spurs all over the small joints as well as on the smaller bones. I was in pain all of the time, and now that the nippy season has arrived again, stepping onto those frigid floors, is even more horrible than it has been in the past. The ice-cold feeling of the floors spreads so much pain throughout my feet that I can’t even walk. I cry when even my socks touch the toes or the sides of my feet. My hubby needs to put up with the intense pain, as much as I do. He recommended we talk to the Heating as well as Air Conditioning machine corporation about having radiant heated flooring installed in our residence. The cost of a new heating machine was so exorbitant that we realized we couldn’t afford radiant heating flooring. My hubby was able to find heat tapes that we could install beneath our carpeting. We already planned on having wall to wall carpeting installed, to supply my feet some cushioning. The heat tape could totally warm up the carpeting as well as make it more comfortable for me. The nice thing about this is that we would not need to have the heating machine on when I had my shoes on. We basically would just turn on the heated floor tape during the night.
