Finding evident faults in central a/c fitted in childcare facilities
I have been a childcare inspector for close to a decade now, but the worst situation I have ever found in childcare was a single with a non-functioning central a/c, then it wasn’t even that the Heating and Air Conditioning system had broken down and was awaiting Heating and Air Conditioning service, no.
It had not been operating for months and interestingly, the previous inspection failed to choice that up; When I checked the report handed over to me, it was clear the inspection wasn’t even carried out on the dedicated date, but because of the staff shortage, I was hired to fill in the gap and track the status of the county’s Heating and Air Conditioning technology installed in childcare facilities.
To save time and resources, both of us liaise with the healthcare office to carry out the joint operation although I focus purely on heating and cooling! Defaulters are normally given 2 weeks to submit a report on their intended service plan or Heating and Air Conditioning products for sale they intend to buy before their seer ratings can be approved for childcare. If a childcare facility has trouble with their quality a/c, or face problems with Heating and Air Conditioning contractor contractors, they are expected to submit a report to our office for assistance in solving the matter urgently for the sake of children! Having worked as an inspector for numerous years, I have l earned a lot more about Heating and Air Conditioning and capacity needs for childcare facilities, just by looking at the model, size, and Heating and Air Conditioning replacement date of an A/C unit, I can tell if it’s acceptable for premises or not, but although childcare facilities are expected to have an air cleaner on standby, their frequent use is not advised but they are expected to have a valid a/c service plan that can take care of service needs. Additionally, any Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman tasked with installing and maintaining A/C units in these facilities must be recognized and registered by the city.
