Custom cabinet for the trophies my kid’s win
My daughter started playing sports when she was 8 years old.
She was the only girl on the t-ball team for two seasons.
She wanted to play football, but she settled for basketball and field hockey. She started playing in a field hockey league that was all year around. She excelled in the sport and she started winning trophies. My husband and I put the first few trophies on the fireplace mantel. By the time our daughter was 15, we had to come up with a new place to store all of her trophies, medals, and ribbons. That’s when I decided to consult a custom furniture builder. I thought it would be nice to have a special cabinet for all of the trophies. I called a few contractors and I found a person in town that builds custom furniture. The guy came to the house to see the space and take some measurements. He also looked at the trophies, medals, and ribbons. He took a couple of pictures and wrote down some additional information about the house. The custom furniture builder called me a couple of days later to get my email address. He sent me a digital image of the custom furniture he had in mind. I was absolutely overjoyed with the custom furniture piece and I immediately decided to hire the guy to complete the project. That was almost three years ago, and the cabinet is almost full. My daughter still has another year left in college. I’m so proud of her accomplishments and I’m glad we can proudly display them in our custom cabinet.
