For the past few weeks I have been waking up in the morning thinking that I am going through early menopause.
I keep waking up in my bed covered in sweat and my sheets are soaking wet.
I have tried sleeping in different pjs and changing my sheets to a different fabric, but that doesn’t seem to be helping at all. So am I trying to figure out what is going on with me. Well, I got to thinking about it after talking to my mom about going into early menopause and she started laughing at me. She told me that she thinks I just need to adjust the temperature on my thermostat and make my room a little bit cooler before I go to bed. So I am going to test out my mom’s theory and see if adjusting the thermostat will really help my sleeping situation. Turns out that mom’s really do know best because I woke up nice and dry! Also, I was a little cold when I woke up which was great because I was able to snuggle in my sheets a little bit longer without being grossed out that I was sitting in my own sweat. I should have talked to my mom about my air conditioning issues way before this because if I had I would have been able to avoid waking up covered in sweat for the past few weeks. Always adjust the temperature of your thermostat folks!
