What should I do about our temperature control?

I have no system what I should do about our temperature control! Right now, I cannot figure out how to use our modern temperature control. My children thought that it would be nice to finally buy myself and others a modern temperature control. I figured that I would just buy the same kind of temperature control, but our adolescents were insistent that I should get a newer temperature control. They said that the newer temperature controls had a lot more features plus would toil a lot better than our seasoned temperature control. Initially, I was nervous. I have been using the same kind of temperature control for a long time, plus I was afraid that I would not be able to figure out how to use our modern temperature control. However, our children promised that they would show myself and others how to use our modern temperature control, so I hesitantly decided to let them get myself and others the temperature control. They even paid the HVAC professional to install the temperature control. While our children were there, they showed myself and others how to use the modern temperature control, plus I had it laboring regularly. However, after they left, I totally forgot how to use the temperature control. I am legitimately forgetful, plus I was distraught about it. I have asked our adolescents several times, but it seems that I am not going to be able to retain the information. What am I supposed to do?
