Remote maintenance

I was so cheerful that I was able to help our nice friend the other morning by remoting into his ipad.

No, it was not an actual ipad issue, but he wanted me to help fix the app that controlled his smart control unit.

His smart control device was acting up and not communicating with the app. He was unable to program the smart control device and he had to turn on his central heating and a/c by hand. This is not how a smart control device is supposed to work obviously. He knew that I had some experience in heating and cooling from when I worked for an Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor a few years ago. I was not a certified heating and air conditioner specialist, although I knew some things about smart control units. So I remoted into his ipad to see what was going on with the smart control device app, then after looking at numerous things the issue appeared to be something pretty easy to fix. It was an error in the replacement of the app. He had just installed it on his ipad because he just bought the smart control unit. And he did not complete the replacement properly. So I went in and clicked what i had to in order to get the replacement of the smart control device app to finish the instal process; Everything was then toiling good and his smart control device was fully operational as it should have been from the start. He thanked me deeply and said that he would repay me for fixing his smart control device app by taking me to dinner at our favorite pizza locale.
