A small dove got stuck in the ventilation system

They have no plan or explanation how the dove got inside the air duct

My fiance & I were kneeling in bed yeahterday waiting for the sun to come up. We were both half awake when all of us started to hear a different sound coming from the ventilation air duct. The sound was coming from the back. Work above our living room. I thought it sounded enjoy a small dove, however our fiance thought I was crazy. I knew it was virtually impossible for a dove to get into the ventilation air duct, but I was convinced that the sound was chirping. The next day, the noise was even louder & more persistent. I decided to detach the covers from the air duct in the living room. I used the flashlight to see inside of the air duct. I couldn’t locate anything, however the noise was much louder once I was closer to the air duct. I decided to call the ventilation supplier to check on the problem. When they investigated the sound, they used a camera to see inside all of the ventilation system. They were just as shocked as all of us were to find a small finch in the section above our living room. The ventilation expert did not find any holes in our plan or any areas that were loose. They have no plan or explanation how the dove got inside the air duct. It might be a mystery that never has an answer. I thought all of us were going to need an exterminator! Luckily, they found a way to get the dove out with some creative ingenuity & dove seed. The tiny dove looked scared & hungry, but he flew away & all of us never saw him again.
