Don’t ruin your AC from negligence

However, over the Wintertide plus Springtime, well, it turns out that a lot of debris plus vegetation from our yard started growing up plus over the massive metal casing of the air conditioning system unit.

This year I very quickly learned a lesson that I really should have already known. I never really thought about it that much before, however when you’re getting ready to turn your family’s central air conditioning system on for the first time at the beginning of the hot summertime season, you really should check all around your outdoor unit… Usually I think that the exterior air conditioning system unit is located anywhere around your condo in a place where you don’t really see it. For instance, ours is at the back of our garage, directly where you can’t see it from the road. It would really be straight-forward to easily forget that it’s even back there if you don’t make it a point to check on the thing once in a while. After what happened with our air conditioning system unit this past year, I guess that I will never again forget to go out and personally check the exterior unit. My exterior air conditioning system component was situated back there behind the garage, minding its own business, plus I stupidly turned the thermostat down plus caused the air conditioning system to start up as it should. This wouldn’t have been a sizable deal at all if I had only checked for dangerous weeds plus vines outside first. However, over the Wintertide plus Springtime, well, it turns out that a lot of debris plus vegetation from our yard started growing up plus over the massive metal casing of the air conditioning system unit. When I turned the thermostat on plus the interior fans started turning, it somehow caused an immense vine to get wrapped around the fan. The fan got stuck, plus it promptly ended up burning out the entire air conditioning system motor. Well.. shit.
