Looking ahead to cooling on Thanksgiving
I think that Thanksgiving is still a couple months away, but I am already planning for it after what happened last year, but in our family, this is a pretty crucial day every year.
To us, Thanksgiving is about food plus family, plus being together, so every one of us all gather each year plus turn an entire day into a large meal, my folks, our brothers plus siblings plus their families, our cousins, pretty much everyone comes in from all over the state for Thanksgiving, so last year when the temperature control program crashed in the middle of it, it darn near ruined things! In this part of the country, it does not cool off in September, plus every one of us basically rely on our a/cs to keep comfortable all the way through Christmas.
Having an entire 50 person family in 1 house, with the oven plus the stove blasting out heat, is the worst possible time for your temperature control program to split down, so of course that is when it happened. This year I will not allow that to happen, so I am booking a repair appointment with a local Heating as well as Air Conditioning business this week, plus then a minute 1 next month. Is it overkill to have many strange Heating as well as Air Conditioning companies come out plus do the exact same things? Not in this case it isn’t! One Heating as well as Air Conditioning tech may catch something the other 1 missed, plus if I get a clean bill of health from both of them after that I will know more comfortable. I’d rather spend money many Heating as well as Air Conditioning techs then have to suffer through another sweltering tepid Thanksgiving.
