I don’t suppose zone control will help our situation
My roommates and I are typically fighting over the control unit settings.
I like the temperature set to about 69 degrees all the time. My roommate Becky, cares about the temperature a lot higher. She cares about it about 68°. Then there is Regan. Regan cares about the temperature around 69 degrees. We’re typically getting up and increasing the control unit. It’s not poor if only a single or two of us is house however when all 3 of us are home, it’s a constant battle. Recently, Regan has taken it upon herself to call out an HVAC company and see if the people I was with and I cannot get it so that we are all comfortable. She has decided to have zone control installed in the house. The only problem with that is that she did not ask myself and others or Becky first. She just signed the paperwork and expects us to spend money our portion. The HVAC company is coming on Sunday to install the zone control, but don’t get myself and others wrong, I suppose zone control would be fantastic for this house. Then the people I was with and I can each set the temperature the way the people I was with and I like it in our own room. I do not even suppose that the price of the zone control is that extreme. It’s just that I entirely cannot afford it right now. Besides, the zone control will not entirely help for the study room. The people I was with and I still have to pick a temperature and stick with it in each room of the house. When the people I was with and I are all here together, we are usually in the study room. So I entirely do not see the point in paying all that money when we are still going to be fighting over the control unit in the end.
