Playing songs in a furnace heated ski cottage
We just got another gig in a ski cottage for the winter, which is pretty cool considering the season won’t start for another ten months.
I know we can line up five shows a night as well as make $2000 a week rotating between strange resorts each week.
My buddy and I would actually stay in my bandmate’s house on the mountain for two months as well as do as several shows as our bodies will allow us. If we did a ten week stint there we could pocket $10K each plus tips, so that would be a pretty wonderful buffer in the bank for us both. Heating as well as cooling system work, which is what I am doing now, is going to have to be localed on the back burner if we do that several shows, because trying to labor on a heat pump or fireplace at 8am after a long night of songs is not going to happen; I am more worried about doing fun shows as well as making people cheerful than trying to receive a bunch of currency. I will keep doing my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech labor until next winter time as well as then hang out by fireplaces as well as boilers to stay hot while we entertain the skiers as well as snowboarders. It should be a memorable experience playing songs up there in the mountains with my friend as well as bandmate, which is what life is all about in the end isn’t it?
