Programmable control equipment is making life harder (guy)
I could have sworn that my buddy and I were promised amazing up-to-date life efficiency & monetary savings from this device. I would bet my left leg that the Heating & A/C specialist told us it would reduce our energy bills & the amount of time my buddy and I spent fiddling with the air temperature control unit. I really would swear on my mother’s grave that it was intended to revolutionize our heating & cooling system usage within mornings of installation. So why am I feeling more stressed out & overwhelmed by this brand up-to-date control equipment than ever before? I know what you’re thinking – I must be doing something wrong. How could a simple control equipment cause so much drama & confusion? Well, when you have an obsessive compulsive guy with terrible ADD, almost anything can become a big problem. I should have realized that he seemed a bit too interested in the information pamphlets our Heating & A/C specialist gave us. I should have anticipated his big desire to figure out how the smart control equipment connected to the heating system & A/C unit. I should have known that he wouldn’t be able to stop fiddling with the control equipment programming afternoon in & afternoon out. Somehow, I overlooked all the signs, & my buddy and I proceeded with the smart control equipment installation about 3 months ago. Since then, I’ve barely even seen my guy’s face. It’s regularly buried in the control equipment panel, nose deep in the energy usage & system performance metrics that he has to access multiple times a afternoon. When the Heating & A/C specialist said I wouldn’t ever have to touch the control equipment screen again, he didn’t tell me that my guy would never touch me again, either.
