Investing in new HVAC shop

Still feeling disgruntled about my terrible cooling system experience, I stepped forward and offered him start-up funds without hesitation.

I’ve never considered myself to be a businessman of any sort. I really just go about my own business, and take money as it comes to me over the course of a normal work day. I never had high aspirations of becoming an investor or entrepreneur. Frankly, I’ve always accepted the idea of working 9-5 for my entire life. That’s why it was surprising to everyone, myself included, when I recently invested in a local heating and cooling dealership in town. It came up quite suddenly, to be honest. It all started when my personal cooling system failed last year and I had to call the nearest heating and ventilation service in the phonebook. When they arrived, the air conditioning technician was a real dick. He came totally unprepared, barely paid any attention to my air conditioner, and aggressively handed me a quote within 5 minutes of looking at the cooling system. I didn’t understand how this heating and cooling dealership stayed afloat when they provided such terrible service, but then I remembered they were the only HVAC company in town! A few days later, I overhead a man at the local pharmacy talking about how he desired to start up a new HVAC dealership. He was a certified heating and cooling specialist himself, but didn’t have the money necessary to start up a new business venture. Still feeling disgruntled about my terrible cooling system experience, I stepped forward and offered him start-up funds without hesitation. I don’t know what came over me. Three months later, we’re just opening the brand new heating, cooling, and ventilation shop and our calendar is completely booked solid. I guess I wasn’t the only one who hated the old HVAC shop.
