We have a humidity problem in the basement
My partner plus I have owned our household for just over 20 years now… Both of us have several fond memories in this household plus it pains us to suppose about parting with it.
However, the household is getting to be too crucial for my partner plus I.
He has a hard time getting up plus down the stairs. It would be better for both of us if my fantastic friend and I lived in a one-story home. My buddy and I haven’t listed our household yet however I’m sure my fantastic friend and I will soon. However, my fantastic friend and I do have one problem: that is the basement. It’s entirely humid in the basement plus this has caused some detriment down there… For example, the carpet smells honestly questionable plus there is a little bit of mold on the walls. My buddy and I can truly get current carpeting plus paint although I don’t want to give a current family an old headache. By that I mean I don’t want to sell our household in bad condition to somebody else. My buddy and I want them to cherish the household as much as my fantastic friend and I have. My buddy and I have tried putting dehumidifiers in the basement to help with the humidity. Those worked however my fantastic friend and I keep forgetting to empty out the water so they stopped working. My partner proposed that my fantastic friend and I put an a/c in the basement to take care of the humidity, then after all, a/cs were initially invented as dehumidifiers. So my fantastic friend and I got a little window air conditioning unit plus my fantastic friend and I put it in the one window in the basement. We’ve left it running non-stop plus it does seem to be helping. Even the smell is mostly gone out of the carpet now. I’m thinking my fantastic friend and I might just need to rent a carpet cleaner plus do a little bit of painting plus the household will be ready to go on the market.
