My dad taught me how to fix stuff

I love the fact that I don’t have to pay an HVAC professional for every little thing that I need for my oil furnace or my central air conditioning system.

Back when I was growing up, my dad showed me how to fix stuff around the house. He was really great about stuff like that and he taught me all kinds of stuff to help me know how to take care of things now that I’m an adult. I know how to change tires, the oil filter in my car, and I know how to repair my washing machine and my dryer. It’s pretty great to know how to do all of this stuff and I know that it saves me a lot of money by being a bit of a do it yourself kind of person. The best thing by far that my dad taught me when I was growing up was how to regularly maintain my own HVAC system in my house. I know how to do regular maintenance work on my heating and cooling system and so rarely do I ever have to call the local HVAC company to come and do things for me. I am pretty good about remembering to change the air filters in the HVAC system in my house, and I love doing the regular maintenance work myself. I love the fact that I don’t have to pay an HVAC professional for every little thing that I need for my oil furnace or my central air conditioning system. It’s really nice to be able to troubleshoot problems that I might be having with the HVAC system at my house. I feel bad for people who don’t have any sort of training with stuff like this. I can’t even imagine not being able to change the air filters in my own heating and cooling system.
