I told them to auction off the unit, but I wanted the currency over the cost of storage fees. I got a look that told me I was absurd as well as left. Two days later, I was at the auction where they were getting rid of my storage unit. I was not very happy when all it went for was $50. I paid almost $200 for each of those air conditioning appliances… Just a small number of them I paid even more. I knew they weren’t worth their original cost, but they were worth a lot more than $50. I walked up to the winner of the auction as well as explained to this guy that the window cooling appliances were worth at least $1000!
