I wrote an online review for my HVAC technician for his exceptional service
I don’t typically leave reviews online.
I just didn’t believe that my reviews would make any difference because there are already a ton of reviews online.
I used to believe that one more review wouldn’t help or hurt anything. So, when my HVAC technician asked me to provide a review for his business, I was a bit hesitant. But because he provided quality HVAC service, I felt obligated to leave a review. I forgot about that review until a few months later, I got a notification that my review was viewed by 1,000 people. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that so many people were interested in what I had to say. I did take the time to write an exceptional review because my HVAC technician did a good job. He went above and beyond the regular HVAC service call. Anyway, if I was able to convince even 100 people out of that 1,000 to choose my HVAC technician then that means my review made a huge impact on his business. I never asked him if he noticed any increase in his customer base after I left the review. I didn’t want to seem like I was trying to take credit for an increase in his business. Without my review, I have no doubt that he would still gain customers because he’s that good. Anyway, I have not left an online review since then, but if I ever receive exceptional service from another business, I won’t hesitate to do so. And if my review could help someone improve their customers, then that is a win.
