Enjoying air conditioning and the view
I have to say that my wife really nailed this one.
- For the first time since we moved down here four years ago, we are able to utilize the sunroom year round.
Of course, moving to this area is essentially living in a giant sunroom given the amazing weather. Sitting outside in the sunroom during the Winter was no problem. The heat pump in our home barely stirs all Winter because we just don’t need much heating demand. There are a few cool morning where the space heater has really come through for us though. So enjoying the sunroom part of our house was something that we could do for basically 8 months of the year. However, once Summer got here, we might enjoy an early morning coffee but that was about it. We get such levels of heat and humidity that it made our sunroom basically unusable for the four months of heat season. But thanks to my wife calling the HVAC professionals, that’s not the case for us any longer. She wanted to get an estimate for putting some residential HVAC in our sunroom. I thought she was crazy because the cost would make it impossible. Yet, she was absolutely correct. The ductless heat pump has been amazing and we are barely even into June. I still can’t get over how little it cost to buy and have the HVAC professionals install that ductless heat pump. Plus, I still can’t believe that we get the level of cooling comfort from that little piece of HVAC equipment. But for sure, we’re going to enjoy some quality heating and air from that ductless heat pump year round.
