Heat pump bring humidity balance
For the first time this year, I showed up inside the commercial HVAC with a bit of a sweat going.
- It’s not like I rode my bike there or anything like that.
No, I even have a remote start on my car so the air conditioning is cooling down the car before I even get in it. I showed up to the zone controlled HVAC of the office sweating just because I walked from the parking garage a mere two blocks away. This is something that I do every day. But when it’s Summer, that means that it will come with some sweat. Were I not wearing a suit, I’m not sure that this would be an issue. Thankfully, I can walk right into my office and lower the thermostat. For sure, that’s one of the perks of having zone controlled HVAC on our floor. I just love having a thermostat in my office for just my air conditioning comfort. At home, it’s a bit different since we have yet to go the zone controlled HVAC route. Yet, we are just a few years from replacing the residential HVAC and that’s for sure on the wish list. But I’m not really complaining anymore. The kids are basically out of the house and in school or starting out on their own. My wife and I have about the same sort of cooling needs so it’s no big deal. But what is a big deal is the fact that our heat pump is providing cooling but also lowering and balancing the humidity levels as well. And this is for sure the time of year when we need that.
